W zeszłym tygodniu odbyło się kolejne spotkanie międzynarodowej sieci Doc Next Network zainicjowanej przez Europejską Fundację Kultury (ECF), której Towarzystwo "ę" jest partnerem. W ramach sieci organizacje i instytucje z Wielkiej Brytanii, Holandii, Hiszpanii i Turcji dzielą się swoim doświadczeniem w obszarze edukacji audiowizualnej i wspierania młodych twórców. W ramach sieci Towarzystwo "ę" realizuje program Polska.doc (www.polska.doc.e.org.pl).

In 2010 to 2012 our Youth and Media programme continues to focus its support and showcase emerging young media-maker talent. The programme is a partnership network that aims to bring forward the views of European emerging documentary makers and opinion makers, to promote an inclusive public society. It also gives access to young people who as a result of social, cultural or political conditions, are likely to be excluded from mainstream public discourse.

The network consists of strategic partnerships with European independent cultural organisations includes the Association of Creative Initiatives "ę" (PL), theBritish Film Institute (UK), IDFA(NL), Metropolis TV (NL), Mode Istanbul (TR), Nisi Masa (FR) and Zemos98(ES). They set up media and documentary workshops to support the development of young emerging media professionals and create platforms that acknowledge the importance of media-use by young people. The network is currently extending its reach with new partnerships in Belgium and Germany. The programme's work creates new perspectives on contemporary Europe - connecting with Narratives for Europe.

The partners of the Youth & Media programme are building an online video archive onVimeo.com. This archive is a collection of views and opinions of European emerging documentary makers and opinion formers, in video.
